Your save data and privacy
Your player files
We read your world summary and your own character file. Other players' character files stay on your computer.
Only derived data is stored: which collectibles you have found, a summary, a parser version and a digest of the file so re-uploading the same save changes nothing. No raw bytes, no platform account id, no inventory, and no in-game position.
The host's world file
Your world file contains the in-game names, levels and last-online times of everyone who plays here — not just yours. Only upload it if that is yours to share.
Your world file is stored for at most a few minutes while we read it, then deleted. Your player file is never stored at all.
What we keep after the file is gone is the roster it described — this world's players, their in-game names, levels, guilds and last-online times, and their Pals. A player can ask you to remove their row.
In-game nicknames are pseudonymous, but they are still other people's data.
